Hi there, I’m Dr Tasmin Humphrey. I’m a former Psychologist and Yoga Teacher who offers weekly group classes, private 1-2-1 sessions & workplace wellbeing around Essex.
Yoga has had a profound impact on my life, helping me to navigate my journey with mental health. Through the practice of yoga I’ve learnt to slow down, reconnect with my emotions and become curious about my inner world, and I want to support you in finding that too.
I love to create a nurturing, safe space where I encourage you to honour yourself and cultivate individual balance. I draw on my own experience with scoliosis and spinal fusion to offer classes that are accessible for absolutely everyone. More and more we find ourselves in this fast-paced goal-driven life, where we are constantly scrolling, hustling and competing. In the process, we don’t hear the quiet and subtle things our bodies ask of us. We lose sight of the small things in life that bring us so much joy. And we refuse to feel our way through our emotions. Our modern way of living plays havoc with our nervous system and can lead to burn out, anger, low self-worth and disconnection. Through my own personal journey with anxiety and depression, and simply living this human experience, I have learnt that it can be hard to justify investing in time to relax and step away from that ever-increasing to do list. Therefore sometimes we need somebody to guide us and teach us the tools we need to slow down.
I am here to support you to tune in to your mind, body and emotions and tune out of the external noise distracting you from being whole. All you have to do is take the first step and trust that you are worthy of peace and fulfillment!
